Richard Sharp was nominated Vice President for the Rich Media
Business Program in Nokia’s Multimedia Business Group as of
July 1st 2004. In this role he is responsible for Nokia’s
Mobile TV activities.
In Nokia, Richard has held various management positions including
Vice President, Strategy & Business Development in the Multimedia
Business Group and Vice President, TDMA Business Unit in Nokia Mobile
Phones.
Richard joined Nokia in 1995. Starting in a Product Management role
he has held a variety of positions within the product creation function
prior to heading the TDMA Business Unit. From 1999 to 2003 he was
based in Dallas, USA and is now based in the UK.
