Florence Le Borgne joined IDATE in July 1998. She is in charge of the Media division.
She mainly works on studies on the television field, dealing with historical, organisational, economics, strategic, technical and regulatory aspects.
She focuses on subjects related to the development of digital television in particular, (terrestrial, cable satellite TV, TV over DSL, mobile TV, video and TV on the web). More generally, she is interested in the strategy of audiovisual groups and broadcast operators. She developed a specific knowledge of the European and Japanese markets through the different studies in which she was involved.
She mainly conducts market studies, benchmarking, sector-based and prospective analyses, strategic watch services and public policy evaluation for European projects.
Previously, Florence Le Borgne was head of research in the Nord-Pas de Calais Regional Development Agency's Economic Observation department. Her work was primarily concerned with the Information Society, the development of telework and the mastery of key technologies. She also contributed to European projects in the context of the INTERREG programme.
Florence Le Borgne is a graduate of the Lille school of management EDHEC (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales)
