Jean-Michel Lagarde is the CEO of Thales Broadcast &
Multimedia, a wholly owned subsidiary of the global electronics
group Thales. Thales Broadcast & Multimedia is a world leader
serving broadcasting, cable TV, satellite and telecommunications
services providers with systems and solutions for terrestrial radio
and TV transmission, digital video processing and multimedia distribution
as well as broadband wireless communications Jean-Michel Lagarde
took the lead of Thales Broadcast & Multimedia in August 2004.
Before joining TBM, Jean-Michel Lagarde was General Manager of the
Secutity activity in Thales Communications. Previously he was sales
director for the tactical communications unit.
Jean-Michel Lagarde, born in 1950, is graduated from Saint Cyr (the
French military school) and served in the army from 1970-1986. In
addition he earned a PHD in electronics in 1982 from ESEAT a French
school based in Rennes.
