Hendrik Heimer is the founder and MD of NAVUS, a company dedicated to software research since more than 10 years. The actual research work in multiagent-systems and wireless network technology enabled the development of a new communication platform for real-time messaging in mobile networks.
eWave Interactive, the gaming division of NAVUS, is using this technology to create unique multiplayer mobile games. The worldwide first multiplayer real-time-strategy game for mobile phones, Killing Fields, did just win in August 2005 the prestigious first prize of the Game Olympics. The next project, a sports game for the FIFA World Cup, shall host over 500,000 simultaneous players in 8 European countries.
Our real-time multiplayer technology enables the development of persistent server-based game worlds even for mobile handsets. This provides the opportunity to develop highly addictive MMOGs for mobile phones and to benefit from the actual hype created by WoW.
