Christian Salbaing is Managing Director
- European Telecommunications of Hutchison
Europe Telecommunications Limited, Hutchison
Whampoa Limited’s (HWL) principal
European holding company for its 3G businesses
in Europe. In this capacity, he has been
involved since inception in overseeing the
coordinated rollout of HWL’s 3G businesses
in Europe, working closely with the “3”
CEO’s and reporting directly to Canning
Fok, Group Managing Director of HWL.
Christian is a member of the Board of Directors
of Hutchison’s 3G holding and/or operating
companies in the UK, Italy, Sweden, Denmark,
Norway and Austria, as well as a Board Director
of Vidiator Technology Inc., a Seattle-based
provider of multimedia trans-coding and
streaming solutions.
He acts as HWL’s representative on
3’s international IT and equipment
procurement groups and also oversees the
Group’s activities relating to branding
and international content procurement.
Christian coordinates the work of the H3G
European Regulatory Forum, Hutchison’s
Brussels-based group dealing with European
Regulatory Affairs, which includes the Heads
of Regulatory Affairs at each of 3“s
European operating companies. |
