Frederic Gastaldo serves as CEO of Swisscom Eurospot,
a division of Swisscom providing broadband internet
access in locations visited by business travellers
in Europe.
Mr Gastaldo is also currently member of the supervisory
board of Versatel a CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange
Carrier) established in the Netherlands, Germany
and Belgium, as Vice Chairman.
Frédéric Gastaldo is a founder of
Louis Dreyfus Communications (LDCOM), a leading
fixed telecommunications alternative provider
in France where he served as CEO, President and
in supervisory board positions from 1998 to 2002.
Prior to joining LDCOM, Mr. Gastaldo served in
telecommunications with Cegetel Entreprises (Vivendi
Group) as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Gastaldo
has been a manager for The Boston Consulting Group
Paris office and, prior to that, held various
management positions for UGINE, a global stainless
steel manufacturer.
Mr. Gastaldo holds a Master of Science degree
from Ecole Polytechnique and Master of Science
degree in metallurgy from Ecole des Mines in Paris. |
