Sally Davis is President BT Global Products and
Customer Service, tasked with bringing together
a single global portfolio and driving up customer
satisfaction and service levels across all units
and countries
Sally’s product portfolio includes data
and IP services such as MPLS, Internet and Frame
Relay, and also Applications Hosting, a set of
e-Business and Web hosting products. Until recently
these were all run as separate units but Sally
has brought the portfolios and service operations
together into a single, streamlined organisation
with full profit & loss accountability. She
is focussed on building BT’s capabilities
in the provision of propositions tailored to meet
customers needs.
The customer service operational teams have been
brought together in one organisation from every
global region. Sally’s vision is to be acknowledged
by customers and recognised industry analysts
as delivering best in class global customer service
and is currently driving hard towards this aim.
Sally joined BT in 1999 as Director of Internet
and Multimedia strategy. Before this she played
leading roles in several major communications
companies including Bell Atlantic in the US where
she successfully led strategic data-centric initiatives
and Mercury Communications in the UK. Sally has
a strong and varied history of success in multimedia,
data and Internet initiatives and in growing businesses.
She has also taken a number of companies from
start-up to IPO status, working for various cable
businesses in the ‘90s.
In March 2001 Sally accepted a seat on the board
of The Henderson Smaller Companies Investment
Trust plc.
An English graduate and now a Fellow of University
College, London, Sally is married and has a young
daughter. |
